P. Josef Jahoda, parish priest at Holy Trinity Church in Brno-Královo
Pole:
Thankfully, I have always accepted the selfless commitment of parish
musicians and singers and their care for music liturgical aspects of worship
life of the parish. I welcomed their efforts to address the dismal state of our
organ, after consultation with the diocesan organ expert finally led to a plan
to build our new church organ and founded an association for the Organ Pole.
I hope that they will succeed, and I assure them all the needed support.
Mag. Art. Ondřej Múčka, diocesan organ expert:
With great joy I professionally took up preparing the project of a new organ
for the Královo Pole. It has been quite a few decades ago since the last one
was built in Brno and in St. Augustine church in Masaryk district. We can say
that it is about time that another liturgical and concert organ appears a one
which will be able to meet the highest demands placed on them at present.
Consciously, we want to focus on a stylish clear-cut instrument, that is not the
kind of „universal soldier“ in the field of liturgical and concert organ
music. And this is, I think, one of the great assets of this project. I firmly
believe that we will soon have it in Kralovo Pole and thus manage to turn the
bold dreams and plans into reality.
MgA. Hana Bartošová, organist and dramatist of Brno Organ
Festival:
I am very concerned about the project and to build a new organ in the The
Holy Trinity church in Královo Pole. An instrument that meets the quality
requirements, accompanied by liturgical rites, and we are all really looking
forward to having such in Brno. As a concert organist and especially as an
organiser of the Brno Organ Festival I welcome every opportunity to extend the
popular organ concerts in other beautiful and acoustically suitable premises.
And if we manage to implement our plans for the construction, effectively and to
address a top international organ-building company providing top quality, then
I have no choice than to enjoy that you'll be able to play another instrument
corresponding to the artistic demands of today and realise that are also
concerts to be heard at the Brno Organ Festival.
MgA. Zdeněk Pololáník, organist and composer:
Dear Mr. Ing. Hanáček, as I know all about the activities in the choir of
The Holy Trinity church in Královo Pole I strongly support and recommend the
project concerning the organ which is the basic instrument in all musical
events. It would be a great shame if stagnation of the music and the quality of
the performances were to be damaged due to the poor state of the instrument, in
which the organ has remained. Let me say to all those who have influence to
ensure that this instrument has everything we need for a beautiful sound and
modern amenities to delight musicians and listeners that I do not doubt their
prudence and providing the necessary resources. Please progressively learn and
master the early realisation of your project. I am looking forward to an early
announcement of the occupancy concert on the restored organ and heartfelt
greetings!
Ing. Andrea Pazderová, 1. místostarostka MČ Brno-Královo Pole:
Let me also support the project concerning the restoration of the organ in
Královo Pole. I greatly appreciate the interest of people in today's hectic
and difficult times and all efforts are dedicated to this project without the
right to any compensation. The Civic Association has resolved a difficult task,
but I firmly believe that there will be enough people who will donate funds to
purchase a new organ. The Holy Trinity Church in Brno-Královo Pole is an
important place in our district, so I hope that in time we will see the renewal
of obsolete musical instruments. With the support of the Town Hall in
Brno-Královo Pole a concert to be held in support purchasing a new organ.
